Feeling anxious or struggling in your relationships may leave you feeling disconnected from the people around you and from your own self. You're someone who cares a great deal but you find yourself feeling overwhelmed either by the demands in your life or your relationships. It may even be hard to remember a time you didn't feel like this. But one thing is for sure: you're ready for some relief. You're ready to have more fulfilling relationships in your life and/or to feel a sense of calm and security. You're finally ready to put in the work for things to start really getting better.

I help those struggling with anxiety or in their relationships. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy. People come to me looking for a therapist who is easy to talk to and able to help them, because therapy should be a place where you feel understood and empowered.

My approach:

I believe anyone can improve if they have self-awareness, the drive to change, and the right skills. Therapy is a great way to help you get all of these things! I work with my clients in a way that looks at the whole person and mixes different, effective methods, because everyone deserves an approach that’s unique to them.

My background:

I attended undergraduate university in British Columbia, Canada, where I studied Psychology. After that, I spent ten years working with people in community mental health in Minneapolis, MN. During that time, I didn't stop learning—I went back to school and got my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. In 2018, I moved to Illinois and started working at a counseling clinic near downtown Chicago. A few years later, in 2021, I decided to open my own private practice. Now, I'm licensed to practice in Illinois, and that's where I help my clients today.

I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, where I spent the first 18 years of my life. My love for travel has taken me to live in several countries, giving me many diverse experiences. These days, my life is a little slower paced - I love reading mysteries and thrillers, creating things, going on hikes with my family, going to comedy or music shows, laying under the sun on a beach or in a hammock. watching sitcoms, and cooking new recipes.

When you're ready, we’re here.
