I believe that people instinctively seek connection-to themselves, to others, and to a sense of place and meaning. These connections can make life rich, intriguing, and at times complicated.

My approach:

Engaging in therapy can deepen our connections and can also provide the support needed to navigate the complicated times. Therapy can be the framework on which a person can learn and grow. My personal approach with clients is to build a trusting relationship, listen with an open mind, and then work collaboratively to provide the support needed to help clients attain what they find valuable and meaningful.

My background:

I attended Antioch University New England and completed my MA in Counseling Psychology in 2008. During my career, in addition to maintaining a private practice, I’ve provided individual and group therapy to young adults in residential treatment, and to hospice patients and their families, I work mostly with adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health concerns. I’m a trained EMDR practitioner and utilize a trauma-informed approach in working with clients. In addition, I often draw from the principles and wisdom found in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and careful listening.

When you're ready, I’m here.
