  • No. We do not share any of your private information with your employer. Your employer receives no information about who utilizes our services and no information about what is discussed in sessions.

  • Yes. Our therapy-as-needed services are 100% free to you. The cost is covered completely by your employer.

  • This depends on your goals. Some goals can be achieved in as little as one session, while other goals may require more time.

  • If your needs/goals would be better served by a more intensive or more specialized service, we will do our best to help you find service options that fit your needs, budget, and available benefits. It’s completely your choice whether or not you want to follow through on any referral. You will still have access to therapy-as-needed services regardless.

  • For virtual sessions, please try to arrive on time. For in-person sessions, please try to arrive on time, without arriving too early. This will reduce the chance of bumping into a colleague while beginning/ending your session. When you arrive, please wait in the waiting room until the therapist comes out to meet you.

  • People utilize our services for a variety of reasons including but not limited to:

    • stress management

    • anxiety

    • sadness/grief

    • trauma

    • relationship stressors

    • family stressors

    • work difficulties

    • substance use

    • food issues

    • body image

    • life transitions

  • Our therapy-as-needed program can help with:

    • coping skills

    • communication skills

    • relaxation and mindfulness skills

    • plans for self-care/healthy lifestyle (eating, exercise, sleep, activities, and social engagement)

    • referral assistance for more intensive services or testing (e.g. substance abuse treatment, neuropsychological testing, etc.)

    • referral assistance for more specialized and/or more intensive therapy assistance in finding support groups (e.g. grief support, DBT, AA, Al-Anon, etc.)
